NP 2012A Places 2nd at Congressional Cup

The North Park 2012U A team came home with silver medals from the MyHockey Tournaments Congressional Cup 2024 which took place in Washington DC over the weekend. In jeopardy of going to the tournament shorthanded, the 2012U A team was able to add a few North Park squirts and younger peewees to the roster to have 10 skaters. After a tough opening loss and despite not having played together as a group previously, the various aged North Park players were able to mesh quickly and play well enough to advance to the final where they fell to the deeper eventual champs in the 5th and final game of the weekend. It was a great experience for the younger players to play up in age and for all to go deep into the tourney and come home with medals.
