NYCHC 2011 AAA WIN COLUMBUS DAY SHOOT-OUT

The 2011 New York City Hockey Club Bantams were crowned champions at the Columbus Day Shoot-Out in New Hampshire this past weekend. After falling short 3-2 to the 95 Giants in their first game, they rallied, winning the rest of their 5 games including a re-match with the 95 Giants in the semi-finals. They shut out Islanders Hockey Club 3-0 in the finals to clinch the trophy. Coaches Elvis Tominovic and Dan Levine were happy to see all players contributing to the wins. The boys really came together as a team this tournament with lots of hard work paying off on both offense and defense, with an impressive power play all weekend and backstopped by some outstanding goaltending.
