OUR STANDARDS

With offerings across the entire range of youth hockey, North Park is uniquely positioned entering our thirty-ninth season in 2025-’26. Prior to next season, each individual team will set customized expectations based on level and age. In addition, a common set of standards will apply to every team to help guide player development:

VISION

what is the optimal future state for North Park?

North Park’s vision is to serve as a premier youth hockey organization with offerings across the entire development pyramid, from 4U through 18U and from beginners through Tier I national champions.

MISSION = PURPOSE

what does North Park do?

North Park’s mission and purpose is character formation for all through the vehicle of youth hockey.

VALUES

what does North Park believe in?

Trust

Teamwork

Hard Work = Fun

Respect

Discipline

We thank legacy families for modeling these standards. And we appreciate current families’ thoughtful feedback in our recent survey to help define these standards.

We enter the most hectic part of the year with tryouts + team formation. Our goal is to use these words to guide our actions as we work to problem-solve the inevitable issues which will arise.

Strong shared culture is always a work in progress. North Park will employ these standards with our coaches, commissioners, volunteers, parents, players; everyone. If a gap arises between these words and our actions, let’s address.

Working together this way, we can build the premier youth hockey organization that we all envision.
